Introduction

Xrayz Software Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") is a software company registered in England and Wales. We develop and publish mobile applications available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our apps. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Who We Are

The Apps This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all applications published by Xrayz Software Ltd on the Apple App Store and Google Play, including but not limited to:

  • Riffle
  • Starfield Zoom
  • Pocket Unit Converter
  • Any other apps we publish in the future

What Data We Collect

Apps That Do Not Collect Personal Data

Most of our apps — including Riffle and our live wallpaper apps — do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. These apps run entirely on your device and have no backend servers or user accounts.

Apps That May Collect Data

Some of our apps may collect limited data to provide their core functionality. Where this applies, it is described clearly within the app itself and in its individual App Store or Play Store listing. This may include:

  • Preferences and settings you choose within the app, stored locally on your device only
  • Anonymous usage data collected by the Apple App Store or Google Play (crash reports, install counts) — this is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies, not ours

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or contact details
  • Location data
  • Financial information
  • Health or biometric data
  • Device identifiers beyond what Apple or Google platform services provide automatically

Tracking

Our apps do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising or any other purpose. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, and we do not integrate any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in apps that this policy describes as collecting no personal data (including Riffle).

In-App Purchases

Some of our apps offer optional in-app purchases (for example, Riffle's one-time Pro upgrade). When you make an in-app purchase:

  • On iOS, payment is processed by Apple. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was made. We do not receive your name, email, payment-card details, or billing address. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles your purchase.
  • On Android, payment is processed by Google Play. The same applies — we receive only a purchase confirmation. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles your purchase.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Apple App Store / Google Play — used for app distribution, payment processing, and (optionally) crash reporting. Governed by Apple's and Google's privacy policies respectively.
  • RevenueCat — used in some of our apps to manage in-app purchases across platforms. Riffle does not use RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data Storage and Security

Where any data is stored locally on your device, it remains under your control. You can clear app data or uninstall the app at any time to remove it. We do not operate any servers that store your personal information.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

As a UK-based company, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). If any of our apps collect personal data that applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@xrayzsoftware.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
